After completing the two-year leadership development fellowship, fellows are inducted into the TFSL Alumni Network — a pantheon of outstanding leaders. This network forms a community of competent, passionate, socially conscious people who share a powerful experience in low-income communities.
Leadership beyond the classroom
Alumni continue the mission from inside and outside the classroom. During their two-year commitment, fellows receive training, support, and networking opportunities that prepare them for leadership roles in education, business, and public service.
- Mentor students and new fellows.
- Serve as school governors or trustees.
- Lead in government, NGOs, and private sector roles.
Building a support system
TFSL nurtures alumni who launch educational social enterprises to expand opportunities for children. Alumni who stay in teaching create a pipeline of middle and senior leaders for schools, local education offices, and MBSSE.
We work closely with education directors to recruit TFSL alumni for leadership positions.
