Teach For Sierra Leone recruits Sierra Leone’s most dynamic, promising, and talented transformational leaders through a rigorous selection process. Fellows commit to a two-year fellowship and a lifelong movement of ambassadors for systemic change within and outside the classroom.

Recruit & Select

Identify and select high-potential leaders to become part of the fellowship and a lifelong movement of ambassadors for systemic change.

Train

Six-week training institute (July–August) covering the Sierra Leone curriculum, lesson planning, child-centered pedagogy, assessments, and practical teaching modules.

Place

Deploy fellows to low-income schools in underserved rural communities, prioritizing candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds committed to returning to their communities.

Sustain (Alumni Movement)

Build a lifelong alumni movement that drives educational justice across sectors, partnering with local authorities, civic society, corporate, and public institutions.
