On Monday, 9 February 2026, Teach For Sierra Leone (TFSL) held a successful and productive meeting with Mr. Mokhlesur Rahman, Task Team Leader for the World Bank Free Education Project, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships and advance equitable education in Sierra Leone.

The engagement provided an opportunity for the TFSL team to share insights into our work in developing teacher leadership, improving learning outcomes, and supporting underserved communities across the country. Discussions focused on areas of alignment between TFSL’s mission and the World Bank’s priorities in education, human capital development, and sustainable development.

Through open dialogue, we explored potential avenues for collaboration to support system strengthening, expand access to quality education, and respond to the needs of children and communities in hard-to-reach areas. The meeting also reaffirmed the importance of strong partnerships in scaling proven, community-rooted solutions that place teachers and students at the center of change.

Teach For Sierra Leone remains open to partnership with institutions and stakeholders who share our commitment to transforming education and strengthening learning outcomes for all children.
