TFSL Engages UNICEF Sierra Leone to Strengthen Collaboration on Quality and Inclusive Education
On Monday, 10 February 2026, Teach For Sierra Leone (TFSL) held a successful engagement with UNICEF Sierra Leone as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration in advancing quality and inclusive education. The meeting provided a valuable platform for dialogue on shared priorities, strategic alignment, and opportunities for partnership aimed at improving learning outcomes for children—particularly in underserved and hard-to-reach communities.

Discussions focused on key thematic areas of mutual interest, including Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), Climate Education, and Early Childhood Development (ECD). Both institutions explored how teacher development and system-strengthening approaches can be leveraged to support improved learning outcomes, climate awareness, and early learning foundations across communities.
The engagement also enabled the exchange of insights on sustainable, locally driven solutions and potential areas for collaboration that align with national education priorities and UNICEF’s programming focus.
This meeting marks an important step in deepening relationships with key stakeholders and reinforces TFSL’s dedication to working collaboratively with partners to drive meaningful and lasting impact within Sierra Leone’s education sector.
